If you are a fan of The Rocky movies, then you will surely recognize these steps. You can take a photo with Rocky's statue at the bottom (usually a line) and run up the steps like a champion. Once on top, you don't have to be a Rocky fan to feast your eyes on the view, it's beautiful.

Comprised of 15 homes and situated on Kelly Drive at The Schuylkill River, each house on Boathouse Row has its own rich history and is named after Philadelphia oarsman John B. Kelly Jr. who won the national singles championship eight times and was once president of the United States Olympic Committee. And it also looks simply magical all lit up at night with the lights reflected in the water.

Elfreth's Alley is a National Historic Landmark with homes dating back to as early as 1702. It's history is interesting, the homes are beautiful and people actually still live there. Situated in Old City Philadelphia, it is comprised of about 35 homes and will leave you plenty of time to see the other colonial-era sites such as The Liberty Bell, The Betsy Ross House, and Independence Hall. There are also plenty of trendy restaurants and shops and in the summer time a Farmers Market on Thursday evenings on 2nd St just south of Market.

The Mütter Museum. America's finest museum of medical history, with displays of beautifully preserved collections of anatomical specimens, ...This museum is a fascinating look back in time of medicine and humanity and the person, Thomas Mütter who was the first doctor to consider and put into practice what we now know as "bed side manner". As difficult as it is for us to believe, doctors of the day did not treat patients with kindness. Admission is $15 for adults and $10 for students and children. Children of all ages are permitted but please be mindful of your child's ability to appropriately handle the exhibits they will see.
