Food scene
Providence is known for its burgeoning food scene! Check out these local eateries, cafes, and restaurants for some of the best tastes nearby. Each of these places are favorites of mine and -- best of all -- are within short walking distance of my home.
Tallulah's Taqueria is about a three to five minute walk from my home. The food is fresh, authentic, and delicious! Though it's a small eatery, there is plenty of outdoor seating available in the spring and summer. I recommend trying the beef tongue burrito -- it's my favorite!

It's also a nice place to do work, read, or study. Get there in less than one minute on foot -- it's across the street from my home. I recommend trying the Turkish Coffee!

It's rare to find a restaurant with food that tastes as good as it looks -- Persimmon is one of the few that I've dined at. Less than ten minutes walking from my home, this place is a "must-visit" for anyone seeking a memorable dinner experience on the East Side!

Adjacent to Brown's campus is the RISD Museum: one of Providence's premier locations for culture, art, and design. The museum features artistic exhibits from many different periods and places. I particularly enjoy the modern art wing and the student art sections!

Neighborhoods
These are some of my favorite parts of Providence! Some are within walking distance -- like College Hill -- while others are a short drive away. Being a smaller city, Providence allows guests to see all of its sights in a short period of time -- visit all three locations in one day, without being in a hurry!
