68 degrees year round. Non chlorinated, spring fed pool. Some people here think this is the fountain of youth. Don’t just ease in, jump and swim! If you don’t want to swim, there are wonderful places to sit and people watch, practice yoga, read a book, or whatever you are into. There are fees between late March and the end of October. It is free from November 1 - mid-March. It closes for a week for cleaning, I believe mid March, so if you are here then you might make sure it is open before you walk down.

South Congress is SO fun and the Continental Club is the place for music there. You never knew who might show up. One of Austin’s best live music listening rooms. The upstairs continental gallery is more of a listening room with a bar, where the club downstairs is a bar with music, so pick your speed and head over there.

Forget coming to Austin, Texas for a steak. This has the greatest sushi anywhere. They have a sister restaurant a little north on Lamar named Uchiko that is sometimes easier to get into. If you want to eat at Uchi before 10p, you might try getting a restaurant a month or more out.

Film
Great place to watch a movie and have dinner at the same time. Has a great quirky Austin vibe. The food is generally pretty good (I like the buffalo cauliflower and the Royale with Cheese). The chocolate chip cookies with ice cream are amazing!

Buffalo cauliflower and Royale with Cheese are my favorites, though if I could have dessert for dinner, the soft, warm chocolate chip cookies with ice cream is amazing.
