Point Defiance is a local favorite. With walking trails all throughout and access to the beach this is a beautiful place to spend the day or just a couple hours. There are views of the Puget Sound, Mount Rainier and tons of nature sightings all throughout the park.
Also check out the Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium for an additional fee.

Worth the drive! Mount Rainier is our region's pride and joy! There are hiking trails all throughout, lakes, waterfalls, and lots of cute towns along the way to stop and grab a bit to eat.
