Westwood Hills walking/running/hiking paths immediately begin on the incline. There are several places to stop with benches to rest if needed, and the views at the top are worth the climb. The parking lot is small, but there is usually plenty of parking on the street.

Getting Around

The Transit Center is the hub for buses and public transit in the city. It is a short walk from downtown Napa, and just under 2 miles from my house. There is a public parking lot for cars and bike racks and bike storage. A regional bus connects to the ferry that runs between Vallejo and San Francisco, as well as the BART. Other regional routes connect Napa to Sonoma, Fairfield, and towns up the Valley (Yountville, St. Helena, and Calistoga). Napa Transit system routes and maps are available at ridethevine.com.
