Food scene

You are in the Heart of Somerset Cider Country and this is our local Cider farm. They make a selection of delicious Ciders and Cider Liqueurs, we particularly like the Ice Cider and the Pamona (which featured at Megan and Harry's wedding!) There is a lovely walk up to the top of the Hill through the Orchards and you can also ask for a tour of the farm depending on their availability that day. Well worth a visit.

Delicious and freshly baked breads and pastries with a great view of the historic waterways of Langport. This is a great Cafe for a coffee and cake before (or after) a walk along the Parrett. They also have a lunch menu to enjoy.

Sightseeing

This is a lonvely National Truct property only 15 mins from the House. Every last Saturday of the month they also host a 'Best of the Levels' Farmers' Market which is not to be missed. There is a lovely and expansive Parkland in front of the house where you can let the dogs and children run around and enjoy the beautiful old trees. The house is also open to visitors and makes for a good explore with the family. The cafe serves good (if a little pricey) coffees/cakes and lunches.

This is our locally run community centre. They have a great selection of local produce to buy, cakes/coffees and lunches to enjoy and also a great Rec Ground for the kids to let off some steam! There is also a Post Office int he shop should you need it
