The Old Town of Porec - The center of Porec is full of historic buildings and stone streets. The Temple of Neptune, the largest temple in Istria, dates from the 1st century and only part of the walls and foundations are preserved. The existing foundations are home to medieval walls dating from the 12th to 16th centuries. Several towers have been preserved to this day. The northern fortress built in the 15th century represents the entrance to Decumanus, the city's longest street.
