Local town
A 10 minute walk will see you in the charming village of Pottsville. If you'd like to eat out we highly recommend Izakaya Potts (Japanese), Tongs Thai. Okky (fish and chips) or Potty Mouth Pizza. On the way into Pottsville from Relax @ 54 there's a small shopping centre with Foodworks, bakery, Potty Mouth Pizza, pharmacy, bottle shop and the Pottsville Tavern.
In town you'll find IGA, a bakery, greengrocer, Tongs Thai, Okky, sushi, pharmacy, health food shop and cafes. There are also some lovely little boutiques worth browsing.
Head to the creek for a swim (you can go in at the end of our street where Victoria Avenue meets Overall Drive) or follow it down to the beach. The creek and beach are both terrific for exploring and swimming.

The biggest attraction is the Bangalow markets, held on the 4th Sunday of each month. You can easily spend the day at the market with a huge range of stalls - the vast majority of which are locally made handcrafts, clothing, homewares and food.

The biggest attraction is the Bangalow markets, held on the 4th Sunday of each month. You can easily spend the day at the market with a huge range of stalls - the vast majority of which are locally made handcrafts, clothing, homewares and food.
Byron Bay, a 30 minute drive south of Relax @ 54 is famous for local beaches, shops and...famous people. Previously known for it's alternate and hippy vibe, it's now a busy and extremely popular tourist destination. If you want to avoid the busy town centre, check out The Farm which is just off the highway and home to Three Blue Ducks Restaurant and an outlet for our favorite bakery - The Bread Social. Wander around The Farm to meet some pigs, chickens and check out the nut plantation and food garden. There's a terrific kid's playground and you can buy gourmet take-away food supplies and cookbooks as well.

During holidays they often have breakfast, lunch and dinner options. They source their ingredients from their onsite garden (which you can wander through) or from local suppliers. They also sell a range of take-home products. We highly recommend their shared platters as a starter. We've always had a great dining experience, no matter the time of day. The drive is beautiful and you can always burn off the calories with a walk at Mount Warning!
