They have Pizza and Pasta, but also very good meat, fish and typically Spanish food as well. It is not very cheap, but nice service and has a small playground for the kids to keep entertained while your there. Its about 6 min walk from the apartment.

Andys is right at the beach so your sitting with your feet in the sand. They sometimes have live musik - in high season it is a little too loud for my taste sometimes during happy hour. The food is easy Spanish (Paella, very good) Fish, meat and burgers and pasta for the kids as well. The burger are real meat from his own production he once told me. Not sure if it´s true, but they sure taste good. There have clean toilets and ice cream and everything you need to have for a quick lunch or chilled dinner at the beach. Also have easy Spanish breakfast.

Andys is right at the beach so your sitting with your feet in the sand. They sometimes have live musik - in high season it is a little too loud for my taste sometimes during happy hour. It´s about 10 min walk from the apartment - 1 minute drive. The way to walk is a little steep depending whether you take the back roads or along the motorway. (don´t like to motorway to walk along personally and prefer steep!)

It´s about 10 min walk from the apartment - 1 minute drive. The way to walk is a little steep depending whether you take the back roads or along the motorway. (don´t like to motorway to walk along personally and prefer steep!)
Haven´t eaten there in a long time, but my friends love it. They have a good happy hour offer and sometimes live musik.

There is a Supercor for shopping open almost 24 hours. There is also a health shop and some saturdays an ecological market. Easy parking.
There is a very good japanese restaurant here. Also, a Thai which delivers home as well, a Pizza place and several more bars and restaurants. I don´t like sitting close to the main roads, but inside is ok. They have very nice terraces though. Just a matter of personal choice. There is also the Amazonia swing park there - so a good place to eat something after a day at the park with the kids

Very good bread etc. Cheap supermarket open Monday to Saturday until 21.00h. At the parking lot is a fresh butcher which is quite good as well.

Apart from a very nice rustic restaurant at the Juanar Hotel, you can walk many different routes to have a lovely view over the cost or all the way climbing up the mountain. It´s something for everyone. From kids to professionals, it´s something for everyone

Sightseeing
Mijas is a very pretty typical white village. There is a lot of tourism already, but I still enjoy to go there with the kids just to be in a different surrounding. My children love the chocolate factory where you can do a small workshop creating your own chocolate bars for around 10 EUR without reservation. Also, Mijas is famous for it´s fancy donkeys which you can rent and ride on them up and down the old steep village streets. I don´t like the way the donkeys are treated so I don´t support this. But you can see the donkeys in their tipical gear on the main square. If you walk one road up from the main square, there is a tiny village museum which is quite interesting.

Drinks & Nightlife
The entire harbor area in Malaga has been very nicely done up. From there it´s a 2 minute walk up to calle Larios and the centre of Malaga with all it´s shops and tapas bars. You will love it! If you don´t like Malaga you don´t like Spain!

If you are scared of heights, just stay on the ground and have a coffee while the others climb up the trees and swing around like tarzan.
