Long Point Wildlife Refuge
You can body surf in the ocean, enjoy the fresh and saltwater ponds and explore the grasslands. During the summer access is available on a first come first served basis. In the off-season you can access the refuge from Deep Bottom Road. Parking passes are not required and admission is free in the off-season.
Originally referred to as “the gaily-colored head of the island” by sailors, Gay Head (Aquinnah) is the western-most town on Martha’s Vineyard rightly famous for its National Landmark lighthouse and multi-colored clay cliffs. A trip to the cliffs is surely a treat and on good days, views of the Elizabeth Islands (including Cuttyhunk) and towns as far away as Newport, Rhode Island are visible to the naked eye.

Gay Head Lighthouse

Nestled within the heart of Oak Bluffs are over 180 small cottages that make up the “Campgrounds.” Evolved from tents & mail-order catalogues, these cottages represent a completely different era and are preserved by private owners and the Martha’s Vineyard Campmeeting Association.

Lambert's Cove is a beautiful beach. The fine sand and clear waters are visually stunning. There are views of Vineyard Sound and the Elizabeth Islands. In the summer months passes and stickers are available for our guests.

The Vineyard is an island accessible only by boat or plane.
The ferry takes both passengers and cars. To get your car to the Island you will need to make a ferry reservation on the website: www.steamshipauthority.com. For passengers there are taxis, Uber, car and bike rentals located near the terminal.
Our guesthouse is located in West Tisbury on a 3 wooded acres. The bike path is a half-mile from the driveway. The house has a private driveway with ample parking. The entire guesthouse is for your use alone.
