Drinks & Nightlife

Closed Mondays. Bar and Grill. Menu can be found in the room. Probably the best dive bar in Washington State. Kareoke most Friday & Saturday nights starts at 9 pm. Good food. Pool tables and Darts.
The Time Out Saloon is a good place to mingle with the local crazies. The fun doesn't usually start before 9 pm but you can still go in early and get some good 'ol fashioned bar food! They will fix it for take out if you prefer! Friday and Saturday night the Karaoke machine is usually fired up. Here you can sing and dance until 2 am in the morning! If you go to the back of the dance floor, through the doors, you'll discover an outdoor beer garden where you can smoke, drink and play corn hole. Put on your jeans and T-shirt and relax!

This is an interesting side trip and really more of a good hike with some petrified wood specimens to look at on the way.

Shopping

This is the quirkiest little shop! There are giant dinosaur statues outside. It is fun to browse and kill a lot of time here. My grandsons loved it. We looked at stones and gems from all over the world. You'll find some little treasure you can't live without. Definitely worth poking your head into this little place. 330 GINKGO AVE - VANTAGE, WA 98950 (509)856-2225 OPEN DAILY FROM 9:00 TO 5:00. http://ginkgogemshop.com/ While your at it, go over to the Ginkgo Petrified Interpretive Center. It's just down the road. There you will get the history of the Petrified Forest and see Petroglyphs. Then go to Blustery's for a milk shake. (toward the I-90 exit) Now that's a good day in Vantage!

A little high priced but when you don't want to drive to Ellensburg, it's worth the extra $1. We appreciate having this little store in our community. If you forget your toothbrush or what-have-you, try this little place. They carry Winegar's Ice Cream. Locally produced, Winegar's ice cream is the best EVER! There are spoons in your Suite. Buy a quart and share it. If you don't think it's the best ice cream ever I'll... I'll... I don't know... just try it!
