BoEx is a Boise gem. This Bosnian run establishment is a restaurant and wine bar with a small grocery store on the other side. They have delicious sandwiches and the best gyros in town in my opinion. Try the Idaho sandwich!

If you choose to hike be sure to bring water. Type the "Idaho Penitentiary" in your Maps app and park in the dirt parking lot. The trailhead is located right there.

The view especially in the evening does not disappiont.
