The National Palace of Culture is a big communist building at the end of Vitosha street. Its usually used for Expos, the book festival is there also.
This is also where Sofia skaters & bikers reside. When I was a teenager the park was a favorite chill spot after school with many nice memories and crushed hearts.

Perfect park for a walk & ice cream during the day! Maimunarnika music stage is there, nice for open air concerts, alternative music and snacks. Great place to meet some people.

A beautiful museum with great artefacts inside. I strongly recommend visiting to experience some of the greatness of the Bulgarian Khans and Tzars, especially when Bulgaria was reaching three sees !
