Also called Aragonese castle, red castle or sea castle, it is a medieval fortress built in the 15th century. It can be reached by boat, as it is located on a small island at the mouth of the port. Once there, you can explore every corner of the island and the castle. Another tip: go there at sunset! You will be offered a wonderful show.

When visiting Brindisi, it is absolutely necessary to visit the archaeological museum located in Piazza del Duomo. In fact, it preserves and exhibits all the archaeological remains found in the area. The city has been inhabited for more than 2,000 years, so there are a lot of them. You can admire splendid sculptures, dishes, objects of daily use. Admire above all the Greek bronze statues, found in the sea during the archaeological excavations in 1992. If you are looking for a free activity to do in Brindisi, do not miss this museum.

Beach / Lido

Spiaggia/Beach Materdomini - free beach, near the airport, the kind of beach where planes fly above you, really above you! :)
We personally love this lido by the sea and go often with our friends. Since we work on-line, sometimes, we choose to work from here during summer. :)

Dov'e il bagno?

Each city has a dialect, therefore not even Italians understand each other. So when in difficulty, ask to speak slower. :) If not, use the phone for translation. :)

Breakfast, lunch and dinner

You should always consider that in Italy eating is like a second religion and you should conform: Breakfast: 07h30 some bars - 09/10 am They eat cornetto (a croissant either simple or filled with nutella, vanilla cream, lots of choices) and a coffee or cappucino - also lots of options for summer, too. Lunch: 12h30-14h30 later you may not be able to eat since the chef goes home to rest or prepare for dinner. Therefore, try to seat for lunch between these hours. Dinner: 19h45-22h00 also try not to be late, you may not eat if not seated within this time frame. Ideally, make reservations
