Perfect for a long walk during the low tide, this beach has plenty of space for sunbathing. There are 3 restaurants in the village of Monte Clérigo, right next to the beach, where you can make a pause from the beach at lunch time or have dinner watching the beautiful sunset.
No doubt Amoreira beach is one of the most beautiful in the country! You should definitely go there. You can either go for a swim in the sea or in the river that goes all the way to Aljezur. Advice: You have 2 options to access the beach. If you opt for the closest one (less than 2 kms away from the apartment), you will have to cross the river to get to the
beach. It is easy to do in the low-tide (you will have water on your waste for 10 meters), however in the high-tide you will have to swim for 10 meters, making it difficult to carry your belongings. So you have to time the tides properly

Praia da Amoreira

Similarly to Amoreira, in Carrapateira you can also go for a swim at the sea or the river. Given its extensive shore, it is a great beach to go.
