(Redmond) General Duffy's has great variety of food trucks will have everyone in your party loving what they eat. Inside the bar they have a great tap list with lots of local beer and wine. We love the outside area that is great for kids to run around including big tires to climb on and corn hole boards. They also have a large stage and host great live music and occasionally have vendors with awesome local items.

(Redmond) Fun spot for some good Brew Pub food and drink. Cascade Lakes has a location in Bend as well, right on the way to the mountain which makes for a good after Ski spot.

Pappy's is your typical family friendly pizzeria. The food is what you could expect of such a place but it has a large indoor play place for kids and a small arcade. We definitely find ourselves here on some of the colder days during winter months to keep the kids busy!

Sightseeing
Great hiking, rock climbing and site seeing. In the Summer Smith Rock gets very busy and also very hot. We recommend going early in the morning to avoid both of these things.

Elk lake does not allow any motors and is popular for paddle-boarding , kayaking, etc. The lodge has a great restaurant serving delicious food, beer and a full service bar. In the winter Elk Lake is accessible only by snowmobile, snow cat, XC Ski or snowshoe. Visiting in the both season is a must!

If the snow is good, we love Hoodoo for its great family friendly atmosphere! It is definitely the most affordable of the local mountains and always seems to have something fun going on. Night skiing here is also a must!
