South Shore Park is less than 5 minutes away on your way into town. A nice little sandy beach with a small playground, pavilion, and grassy area. Water gets deep fast.

~ 1 mile away from cottage. Vic Park is a great spot for your doggos to run around. Turn right out of driveway, turn right onto E. Lover's Lane, cross street into Vic Park. A stony shoreline with public boat launch as well as large grassy area and picnic tables, well shaded with mature trees. Not necessarily the best spot for a full-blown beach day, but great for getting your feet wet, searching for Petoskey Stones, and tying up hammocks.
