Early Morning "pick me up"

My favorite coffee shops and breakfast in town.
Hands down - best coffee shop in town. Located in Central Rexall building, one of Hammond's oldest structures built and started operations in 1896. My go-to is a single shot of Gugi espresso to start my mornings off on the right foot.

The best hangover cure Hammond has to offer. Classic breakfast, "south of the border", and lunch options make this place a must-go-to after a few too many late-night drinks. My order would look a little like this: fresh-squeezed orange juice, the "Caliente", and two orders of plantains.

One Thirteen - Hammond's newest luxury. New American-inspired cuisine paired with a classy mid-century modern design will be sure to enliven your senses. Brunch'n on the beautifully landscaped patio will be a highlight during your visit.

Lunch: mid-day snack

My favorite lunch spots in Hammond.
Ordering Pho? Ask for spicy broth this time. You will not regret it. And if you're feeling a little sweet, go ahead and get a Boba tea. You deserve it!

"Let's grab dinner"

Only the best dinner options Hammond has to offer. You can trust me here. I've been in the industry for upward 6+ years.
Ask for the chef's choice on EVERYTHING. Locally sourced Italian comfort food with many options to accommodate all dietary preferences. Gluten-free, pescetarian, and vegetarian options. Ask Beau the bartender for his infamous Vieux Carre or a classic Espresso Martini.

Without a doubt in my mind - best sushi in town. The "Market Roll" will likely make you contemplate your life and why you just now started eating raw sushi. Many options for anyone and everyone. Family-friendly, business meeting friendly, or if you're like me and like to hash out dinner solo, you're bound to meet a friendly face at the bar.

Night Life: booze or lose

Hammond's best local bars - within walking or biking distance of my residence so you don't have to stay sober ;)
Widest variety of booze from all around the globe. RW&B co-owns Fume, a local cigar shop only a half block down the street. Pick your poison and enjoy the dog-friendly patio and some of the best bartenders Hammond has to offer. Let Katie know I sent you!

Just the type of grunge that anyone looks for at 1 a.m. Tuesday is for trivia nights. Wednesdays, for a casual game of pool. Thursdays... the dogs take over. Friday and Saturday are for play priority on the jukebox and hanging out with some of the coolest bartenders in town. Sundays are for Saint Games. The best, most diverse crowd Hammond has to offer.

交通資訊

Driving is the fastest way to get around.

Parking in Hammond is always FREE. Although Hammond is best suited for driving, I find biking and walking throughout the downtown area is more ideal. Parking may be scarce during weekday business hours.
