A really delicious breakfast spot. I've tried several things on their menu and it's all delicious. If you order potatoes, make sure to get the sour cream on the side....yum!

This isn't super close to my listing, but if I had just a few days in Berkeley/Oakland this would be a place I would visit. An entire restaurant devoted to the best mac and cheese you've ever tasted!

One of my top recommendations. Pedro's favorite tri-tip sandwich is one of the best things I've ever tasted. Tri-tip, pineapple, cilantro sauce...so amazing.

A nice dive-y type of bar within walking distance of the apartment. They have a lovely outdoor patio area and serve food outside. I highly recommend the grilled cheese!

Yummy pizza and drinks. Special tip: They have a secret beer menu - make sure to ask for it! The outside beer garden is one of my favorite Berkeley spots.

Super fun venue! Speciality drink is the greyhound - vodka & grapefruit. They squeeze the grapefruit right in front of you! You'll have to take BART to 19th street station to get here from my place.
