Sightseeing

Our top recommendation for places to visit. Try to catch it on sunny days with less wind for the best setting. Usually best around mid day. Accessible from Puerto Ayora by a 2,5km walking trail through a forest of giant cactuses, or by boat from the dock. The main beach is dangerous for unexperienced swimmers due to waves and currents but the lagoon at the end of the beach is calm. Entrance is free with no need for naturalist guide.
