Folkestone is very up and coming with lovely places to eat along the harbour. Also a lighthouse bar at the very end with wines, champagnes and nibbles. Little Rock fish restaurant on the beach with bar next door. Check on weather & days for opening times.

Amazing Mexican food, the other side of Canterbury, so a longer walk, roughly 20 mins, walking through town to the Westgate towers, walking past the river stour where you have a lovely park running alongside the river.
