The Feria is very important in all Spanish cities so when you are in Fuengirola in the beginning of October you'll see why! El Feria del Rosario is a grand happening with Flamenco music and dancing in the old town and horses, concerts and rides on the feria grounds. Enjoy!

Skiing in the Sierra Nevada is a fantastic experience. Just go for the day, book your pass one day ahead, when you are sure the snow conditions are good. Rent your coat, ski trousers and ski gear there and off you go. Good conditions between November and May!

It's an hour by car, but you get rewarded after an hour's walk through the wilderness with a gorgeous waterfall and super cold water to freshen yourself up. Even in summertime you'll probably are the only ones there.

Fuengirola is very easy when you do not want to drive a car!
Train station: 10 min by foot, ideal for travelling to Malaga! Busstation also only 10 min by foot; good for a day out to Marbella for example!

Fuengirola is good for low budget travellers!
Food, drinks, shopping: all relatively cheap compared to Marbella/Malaga and obviously the rest of Europe!
