This is the most fabulous South Indian restaurant. It is gluten free and very reasonably priced. It is in the heart of the Merchant City - worth visiting in itself.

This is one of my favourites, with extensive walks and sights of Highland Cattle. In the Park you can visit Pollok House, and see round it or just to enjoy its authentic Victorian kitchen Cafe and fabulous cakes and scones.

This is a mile from the apartment, walking East along by the River Clyde. The Park is extensive and houses the People's Palace, a large glass tropical greenhouse with cafe. There's a beautiful Victorian fountain and the Iconic Templeton building behind the park. Worth a visit.

This is the number one place worth visiting in Glasgow. Set in Pollok Park, just two stops away by train to Pollokshaws West, the museum is beautiful, bright airy and full of the most wonderful artifices from around the world, most well preserved over hundreds or thousands of years, and all very cleverly presented.
The Park is wonderful for walks, and includes Pollok House and Highland cattle
