For a few coins you could get a meal and a drink anytime. Today, the area is visited by tourists, both because Christiansborg, Kgs. Nytorv, and “Strøget” surrounds the area around Nikolaj Plads and Admiralgade. In the summer of 2015 KöD opened at Admiralgade and has since expanded to two KöD restaurants in Copenhagen.
