Its best to bring some food from down the mountain we do have grocery stores but one is all organic and the other is not as extensive as your used to and they run out of things often.

You might have to stop on your way up and put them on, and you should know how to do it before you leave.

all unique shops from wonderful Ice Cream shops to our great little movie theater " Rustic Theater", an adorable candy shop " , vintage goods, Crapes at Momma mias. Nice clothing boutiques, wine tasting. Our museum is really cool,. Its amazing to see that people actually got up here in the early days. And don't forget our nature center and hiking our wonderful trails. The Ernie Maxwell is the beginners hike.

Local hosts would appreciate if you could book with us first. Try to find a local onsite owner host property. We will take care of you every step of the way more then an investor property. Please protect and support our mountain economy. We want your experience to be a good one. Be respectful to our neighbors and our properties, enjoy our mountain, we welcome you and hope you love it here as much as we do.

Winter rules: Please don't forget that my property is landscaped. There are designated walkways to use and there are plants under the snow that cannot be stepped on. I want the kids to have fun in the snow but just help them to be respectful and play in the right places. Thanks

keep in mind that all mountain cabins are on septic systems and city guests are not used to this. We are not hotels. Septic systems have limitations, the Leach Lines in the ground will stop taking in water if it snows a-lot or rains to much. This means that excessive bathtub use or long showers, washing machines WILL cause problems. So just because these amenities are offered does not mean you should over use them. Therefor, I need to request" Never Bring your laundry to my house". My laundry room can be used upon request. In the winter I may have to regrettably decline.
