Rundāle Palace (88 km from PARTEEHOLE apart-hotel) is the most significant baroque palace in Latvia. It is located in Rundāle municipality Pilsrundāle. The palace was designed by the Italian architect Francesco Rastrelli working in the Russian Empire and built from 1736 to 1768 as the summer residence of the Duke of Courland Ernst Johann Biron.
