Altrincham has a great buzz to it, and it is great to walk around town, stop for coffee at the many new coffee shops, and hang around the Market area or Goose Green.
We have so many lovely coffee shops, restaurants and eateries, I could keep going. But I suggest you use your favourite search engine's Maps to find the best places around us - they will include ratings too. But as new places are opening every month, we're finding it hard to keep up!

Whether you want to pop in for one beer or need a good night out, the Cheshire Tap is always welcoming and friendly with a great selection of beers and ales. Check their Social Media pages for guest ales. They have a music venue next door - ask inside.

It is a Pub with a bar and restaurant. Closest pub to us. Newly refurbished and cosy. A 5 minute walk towards the old Bowdon village centre.

Sightseeing
And old stately home with gorgeous gardens. You can walk there in 45 minutes on a sunny day, or travel by car.
Grounds are family friendly, and there's a lovely Pub on the other side of the park: Swan with two Nicks - but book ahead, it gets busy!
