The nachos are the best and less than $10! We like the veggie best because of the guacamole but any choice is a good choice. The drinks are delicious as well, though a bit pricey. If you're going on a weekend night, be sure to make a reservation if you would like a table.

Really cool place with a Middle Eastern vibe. No cover. On Friday and Saturday nights you can catch really good jazz music. There's a grand piano so almost all of the music is piano based (i.e, piano and upright bass, piano and percussion, etc.). Ensembles are generally no bigger than trios. Also there are cocktails named after composers!

Chicken and Waffles! They have other southern comfort food as well (we recommend the mac and cheese) but their signature dish can't be beat. They also offer a couple different kinds of hot sauces in addition to real maple syrup.

Free excluding the traveling exhibitions. They host concerts and movie screenings during the summer. The park surrounding the museum is relaxing to walk through and they just re-did it! It also connects to the greenways in Raleigh if you're a long distance cyclist or runner.
