Thanks to the Sziget Festival in August the Island is very populer. In the other part of the year it is not very popular therefore it is a nice place for a romantic picnic or to walk and relax in a quiet place. It also hosts a very nice and special playground which is a must see if you stay with kids.

You will find here small shops with handmade products, outdoor diners with Hungarian dishes and mulled wine and an ice rink. It is a must see if you come in the right period. I recommend you to finish your day here and enjoy the beautiful light decoration with a mulled wine before a hot bath.
