If you are in town during their 2016-17 season, I would google them and see their 7 offerings and plan on seeing a Play or two when you are in SF! To tell you a secret, very often you can get a last minute ticket! Worth it!

Must get on our beautiful Bay. Take a Ferry from San Francisco to Sausalito and back. Remember the return Ferry doesnt run evening hours! Enjoy lunch or tea there and then return! Nice little shops at waterfront area in Sausalito, too..and Ferry Building Shops are fun, too, here in SF!
