Aipal is a Bakery / Confectionery renowned, famous for its "Bolas de Berlim" (Berliners). They're open 24 hours except on Mondays, they offer a wide variety of bread and pastries at all hours. I recommend their Berliners and slices of pizza, they're great for a mid night snack.

Café Hamburgo is a award winner restaurant of Best "Francesinha", Francesinha (meaning Little Frenchie or simply Frenchie in Portuguese) is a Portuguese sandwich originally from Porto, made with bread, wet-cured ham, linguiça, fresh sausage like chipolata, steak or roast meat and covered with melted cheese and a hot thick tomato and beer sauce served with french fries. Francesinha sauce is a secret, with each house having its variation. The only common ingredient is beer. Sauces vary in their degree of spiciness. Different restaurants that serve Francesinha are characterized based on how good their sauce and mix of meats is perceived to be and Hamburgo's recipe has one of the best sauce for Francesinha.

The "Parque Biológico de Gaia"(Gaia Biological Park) is not only a protected reserve that is home to an enormous amount of flora and fauna along its 34 hectares of extension, recreating their natural habitat, but also features a variety of recreational and educational activities.
Taking advantage of the agro-forest area where it is located, its focus toward the preservation of the landscape of the region makes it as a living museum of environmental features that continuous county urbanization is losing.
If you want to have a nice connection with nature and learn something with your kids; visit parque biológico de Gaia! It is a fantastic attraction in Gaia!

Throughout the park works of art of several contemporary artists are exhibited alongside the typical flora of the North of Portugal, such as oak, birch and yew.
The project for the garden of Serralves House was commissioned by Vizela Count the architect Jacques Gréber in 1932. The park is the result of process design of a landscape over more than a century, and is a temporally and spatially complex unit including traces a nineteenth century garden, Quinta do Mata-Sete, the garden of Serralves House, as well as the landscape of the Museum of Contemporary Art.
