This hostel has the best beer selection you can get in Akureyri. Very friendly owners and staff, highly recommended. Sometimes DJ's or bands during weekends. Brunch is excellent and cheap. And they also have a laundromat !

The local swimming pool is great. Here is what our last guest said in may 2016 "The incredible town pool complex is just 2 blocks away". OK ! Pool complex, yes why not just call it that, it is excellent that much we know.
