Very cool bar, five minutes on foot from the apartment. This is a motorcyclist bar, rock, but is opened to everyone :D The boss is crazy, and make really good parties !

5 minutes from my apartment. You have to go there before 21:00 if you want to enter. This is a big rooftop in front of the sea. There is no place like his one in Marseille. Nevertheless, entry is 20€ and drink are somehow expensive, but hey, you are in a club ^^

This little bar is opened every day and has a splendid view of all the port from the sidewalk just in front of it. When the day is sunny and not too windy, this is a perfect place for after day drink, but this has a price. Everyone has to be up, as people are taking their drink on the barrier in front of the view. It proposes drinks and some little things to eat (Marseille's Panisses). You have to see this point of view, it's 5 minutes from the vieux port and very near another point of interest, L'Abbaye Saint Victor itself. (not expensive at all)

If you come in Marseille you have to get there ! Notre dame de la Garde is a church dedicated to Marie which is on the top of a higher mount in Marseille. From a Christian site, it has become for all Marseille inhabitants, a kind of symbol of the city whatever religion they follow, if ever they follow one. Most important, from its foot you can see a panorama of all the city, it is really wonderful. You can get there by car, bus, touristic train, taxi , but remember that the last hundred meters have to be walked on foot and to make a wish once up there !

From a Christian site, it has become for all Marseille inhabitants, a kind of symbol of the city whatever religion they follow, if ever they follow one. Most important, from its foot you can see a panorama of all the city, it is really wonderful. You can get there by car, bus, touristic train, taxi , but remember that the last hundred meters have to be walked on foot and to make a wish once up there !
Food Scene
Very nice restaurant, 10 minutes by foot from the apartment. You won't get a nice view, but you will eat very good Italian and French meals. One of my favorite on this side of the "Vieux port"

It's about 25 minutes on foot from the apartment. This place is wonderful. Take time to visit the 1000 year Old Abbaye Saint Victor, you have a wonderful sight there. 52 Rue Plan FourmiguierIt's about 25 minutes on foot from the apartment. This place is wonderful. Take time to visit the 1000 year Old Abbaye Saint Victor, you have a wonderful sight there. The restaurant itself is a hidden garden, few tourists have this address. You will eat perfect meal. This one is my best in this side of the Old Port
This restaurant does not offer a wonderful view, but their food will ignite your taste buds. Choose the beef cooked on wood fire, and enjoy !

This is a subway stop that will lead you to the main train station, the stadium, the beach and through all the city. See on the RTM website ! You also have access 20 meters away to the city tramway to the center of the city

It you have time to visit Marseille, get on this little train. It will lead you to several emblematic neighbors and let you see many historic spot of the city. Even If I was born in Marseille, I have also ride it once, it is very fun, instructive and not so expensive (8 for an adult, 4 for a children). You have the choice between two circuits, one will get you to "Notre dame de la garde" by the sea front, the other one will get you to the oldest neighbor of Marseille, Le Panier, and deliver you many information of the locations it passes in front of (yet you can visit Le Panier from the house, 10 minute on foot )
