It's a West Hollywood landmark in my opinion. For those looking for a bit more of an "avangar" spot. Definitely not suitable for children or old school folks.

1900 Ocean Front WalkThe boardwalk is world famous! A must if you are visiting LA for the 1st time!
Iconic street and a great spot for luxury shopping or for a nice walk and window-shopping.
I recommend the "208 Rodeo" all-day cafe. An upscale cafe for your lunch/brunch, or the world famous "Il Pastio" restaurant for dinner (don't forget to make dinner reservations, it gets busy).

However it is an upgrade of about $100 per ticket so if you are on a budget I would recommend doing something else as the lines in this park can be like 3 hours on some dates and without "skip the line" its very frustrating, especially if you only have a few days in LA.

Wold famous Runyon Canyon is not too long for the lazy hiker, however there is a longer trail there if you feel like exercising a bit more. Great view of the "Hollywood Sign".
