If you're into the ramen craze this place is yummy. A little overpriced and often has a line, so I've only been there a few times. Go during the day there shouldn't be much of a wait.

A new southern Italian place that feels like an old one. This place is owned by a really nice middle aged couple. The portions are big! Get the stuffed artichoke.

Great cocktail bar... the sort where they cut their own ice cubes and squeeze their own juices. It's a beautiful bar with a great atmosphere and has a big backyard too. Just a block away!

Super fun bar with a huge outdoor space. But also an indoor space with lots of atmosphere. Technically in Fort Greene, just across Atlantic, but a really easy walk from my place.

Sightseeing
The Brooklyn Botanical Gardens are wonderful & a nice green haven while you're in the city. Enter on Eastern Pkwy closer to Washington Ave, walking it's past the Central Library on Grand Army Plaza.

Prospect Park is lovely... more natural feeling compared to Central Park. Go hang out on the Long Meadow for a few hours on a beautiful day. Excellent people watching!
