Fantastic food and cider, an apple museum and pretty shed too! Definitely worth visiting, great lunch spot, and during the warmer months there dinner is on Fri/Sat nights and often live music on Sundays.

Geeveston is 25 minutes south from the Barn and is the gateway to the Hartz Mountains (great alpine walks), the Tahune Airwalk and the far south. It's worth a stop for the Old Bank Café and/or Baker & Co - beautiful food and coffee. There's also a great park for kids and you can spot platypus less than 100m from the main street!

Hip Cygnet has some great food options and some quirky shops to check out. Further south there are beautiful beaches to picnic at like Randalls Bay, Mickeys Beach, Drip Beach. In season you can pick up fruit and veges at the roadside and don't forget to stop at the Pagan Cider cellar door! Markets are on first and third Sundays of the month.
Cute riverside town with a couple of good food options. Worth visiting to check out the wooden boat school and go sailing on resident tall ship the Yukon.
