Mountains higher than Yellowstone, wildlife that's really wild, exciting history, and no crowds! The Bighorn region is a vacation destination for the discriminating visitor, and this rustic cabin with a huge new deck and a treehouse view on the eastern face of the mountains is filled with charm and located near Sheridan, Wyoming. Owners occupy a separate basement apartment. Single group rental includes shared deck space and laundry access and by request at extra charge additional sleeping space.

Unwind in our hand-built cottage with lake views, just 10 minutes from Buffalo & 20 from Sheridan. Set on 35 scenic acres with a micro dairy, chickens, and Buddy the blueberry-loving peacock, this cozy retreat offers fresh milk & eggs with your stay. The 700 sq ft space features a king bedroom and a pullout bed in the great room, plus a private patio with BBQ. We’re near the interstate, easy access, though some road noise is possible. The cottage is all yours, we live nearby if you need anything

Creekside Cabin at Story Brooke Lodge

Come relax at a cozy cabin along Piney Creek with a large wrap around porch. Open your windows to listen to the water running by all night with fresh cool air (no A/C sorry). The cabin features a queen size bed and a pull out couch. Kitchenette includes a sink, Keurig, toaster oven, microwave, hot plate, and mini fridge. The cabin features a gas fireplace, a covered porch with skylights and also has a glass dining table with four chairs. This cabin has cable TV that is also a smart TV and wifi.

This spacious mountain retreat blends rustic charm with modern comfort. The lofted master bedroom boasts a king bed, and you'll find 3 full-size sofa sleepers in the living room. Activities right outside the door include fly fishing, hiking, hunting, snowshoeing, and X-country skiing.

Story is a town of 900 people, so there is one store open daily and two restaurant/bars. This is the place to stay if you are wanting a peaceful getaway.
