Douglas Lake Retreat

Welcome to our lake front cottage! We are close to all amenities, within city limits which makes it very convenient for sporting events, family trips or just some time away. You can swim or kayak/canoe in the summer, skate or snowshoe in the winter. The perfect location for any weekend! The house/ cottage is 30+ years old and we have just completed a large renovation to the main floor, still lots to do but we are very happy with our cozy space and we hope that you will enjoy it as well.

A home to cater to anyone. Relax alone or with the whole family in this three bedroom house on the St John River/Belleisle Bay. The house is on a quiet lane that is back from the main road. Enjoy open concept living with a full kitchen, two dining tables, two full bathrooms, living room, and laundry. Enjoy a coffee while taking in the beautiful view of the river from the sunroom. The main level has a heat pump with AC. In colder months enjoy the wood stove. Bring your fur babies too!

Perfectly situated near restaurants and breweries. You will love it here! Please note: group gatherings or parties are not permitted.

Inside you will find a rustic wood paneled interior with all the amenities of home. A jacuzzi bath awaits you at the top of the spiral staircase in the master bedroom loft. We love to start our day with coffee on the front deck, enjoying the view from the adirondack chairs. Launch your kayaks at the waterfront. Enjoy evening campfires.

Winter brings snowshoeing and sometimes skating. A hot tub and fire pit extend the seasons! Relax with your coffee and meals on front or back deck in the sun or shade. There is an abundance of wildlife and nature to observe.
