Douglas Lake Retreat

Welcome to our lake front cottage! We are close to all amenities, within city limits which makes it very convenient for sporting events, family trips or just some time away. You can swim or kayak/canoe in the summer, skate or snowshoe in the winter. The perfect location for any weekend! The house/ cottage is 30+ years old and we have just completed a large renovation to the main floor, still lots to do but we are very happy with our cozy space and we hope that you will enjoy it as well.

Enjoy open concept living with a full kitchen, two dining tables, two full bathrooms, living room, and laundry. Enjoy a coffee while taking in the beautiful view of the river from the sunroom. The main level has a heat pump with AC. In colder months enjoy the wood stove. Bring your fur babies too!

Relax inside with a board game or Wii bowling! July & Aug are Sat to Sat bookings only. Our 2 bedroom cottage is 10 minutes to Rothesay and Quispamsis and 15 minutes to Saint John City Centre. Perfectly situated near restaurants and breweries. You will love it here! Please note: group gatherings or parties are not permitted.

Whether you need to soak in the hot tub, a hike in the woods, a gathering space by the fireplace or stare into the abyss on the swing, let us support your peace and calm. ​ Based on season, we also offer ice skating, paddle boarding, fishing and swimming in our pond.

There is a fantastic view of the Kennebecasis River from this beautiful water front cedar cottage. It's quiet and private. Inside you will find a rustic wood paneled interior with all the amenities of home. A jacuzzi bath awaits you at the top of the spiral staircase in the master bedroom loft. We love to start our day with coffee on the front deck, enjoying the view from the adirondack chairs. Launch your kayaks at the waterfront. Enjoy evening campfires.

Skips country house

Relax with the whole family at this gorgeous little country house is on a 5 acre lot where you can take a walk to look at the turtles or through a cute little apple orchid or take a walk to look out over the beautiful Saint John river. A public wharf is only a 2 minute walk down beside the property. Built in the 1800s it has such a character to it ,plus a extra seating area. Outside you will have a stove, fire pit, deck & BBQ aceful place to stay.
