A beautiful cozy house to stay who wants access to Fortuna but want to be out the bustle of town, behind the house you will have a covered terrace with hammocks, table, barbecue; perfect to chill out, eat outside, see the birds and relax. You will enjoy the nature walking around the trails we have into the property and seeing all the tropical flowers.The kitchen has everything you need to prepare something, AC works very good , we are located outsite of the city,so you will need a car.

The house is nestled on a private farm next to the Monteverde Cloud Forest Reserve. It is located on top of the mountain with spectacular views of the Gulf of Nicoya and the best place to watch sunsets when the weather allows. It is a one bedroom non luxury house that was built by one of the first Quaker settlers in the Monteverde area. It is fully equipped with a kitchen, washing machine and dryer for the best comfort. We are in the cloud forest, be ready for weather changes and bugs.

El único lugar que cuenta con agua caliente es la ducha, ya que Costa Rica es un país cálido todo el año por lo que no se acostumbra a colocar agua caliente en los demás grifos.

Nice house with incredible views, not only to the Arenal Volcano, but also to the Tenorio and Miravalles Volcanoes and the town of La Fortuna. The design of this house is inspired on the Oxcart which were very important for the economy of the country on the 1900's. You will also find our grandpa's Oxcart next to the house, and it is very photogenic, so feel free to take a nice picture of it, with the Volcano at the back!
