The apartment is inside the church called "Chiesa di SAN GIOVANNI ELEMOSINARIO" one of the oldest churches in the Rialto area built in the 11th century, the only church saved from a fire that broke out in the 15th century and by 1700 it had become the priest’s house. The apartment is completely renovated and is a 2 minute walk from Rialto Bridge. It has 2 bedrooms, big living room with fully equipped kitchen. The bathroom has a shower with chrome therapy. Look out onto a canal and a watery cityscape that has barely changed for many centuries. The apartment is on the 2nd floor (no lift!) without A/C, but each room is equipped with fans. The interior features many gloriously baroque touches, from the period furniture and marbled floors to the chandeliers and oriental-style patterned carpets. Please pay attention before to book, read the rules of the house and the extra fees: daily tourist tax, cleaning cost, late checkin (after 8pm).

This apartment was lovingly restored in 2018 for our friends and family to stay in (we live about 1 minute away) and when they are not visiting we offer it through airbnb.
