Downtown Hayward is only 15 minutes. You have access to the community dock and shared frontage to crystal clear Grindstone Lake. The Snowmobile trail runs immediately in front of the cabin. Ice fishing right off our shore produces walleye, crappie and perch. We have a fisherman’s haven just waiting for you!

Book a wonderful vacation Up North! Large, welcoming chalet is perched on a wooded hillside overlooking Lake Chetac. Stunning lake views, abundant wildlife & great fishing. Fish house w/water (warm months), electricity, counter, double sink, a freezer and propane heat. Sandy lake bottom at shoreline. Private dock has room for 2 boats. Stay in one of the oldest structures in Sawyer County with private Lake Hayward frontage in your front yard and the Birkie trail, atv and snowmobile trails in the backyard! You can hike, bike, ski, or ride the trails directly from our yard. Plenty of parking-driveway is a loop. Cabin was completely renovated top to bottom in spring of 2021.
