Kalispell is in the heart of the valley, so you are central to all that the area has to offer! 25 min to Whitefish, 15 min to Flathead Lake, 45 minutes to Glacier Park. My husband and I both grew up in the Flathead Valley and have hiked all over Glacier and the Jewel Basin, skied Big Mountain and Blacktail, and we would be more than happy to give you advice and tips as you plan your trip to the Flathead!

Great place to come to at the end of a Flathead Valley adventure day. At the top of 14 narrow steps you'll find a one bedroom pad with a queen bed, two comfy chairs, a desk, leather futon, bistro seating, big screen tv and all the kitchenette you need! Free off-street parking makes for an easy entry. This is a great place for two budget-minded travelers who want to be close to it all. The steps to the apartment may be a little steep and narrow for elderly travelers. See the picture.

Stoney Lonesome Retreat

Welcome to Stoney Lonesome Retreat. Why Stoney Lonesome? Not entirely sure, you can blame it on my great grandfather, old Fredrick Richard August Christian Uhde. He named the property back in 1972 and the name has stuck!!! My parents Elward and Susan purchased our property in the summer of 1969 for $500 and we have been here ever since. My brother and I were raised here and now my wife Gretchen and I are so proud to be raising our son Simon here. The third generation on this land.
