Using the shack as your base, no matter which direction you choose to venture, there’s an array of experiences and activities to explore, 20 min to Hobart Airport, 40 min to Hobart, gateway to Richmond, East Coast, Port Arthur and the Tasman Peninsula. A slower way of life just happens here x

Waterfront 'Tupelo' with Sauna on Primrose Point

Ideally located on the point, Tupelo gives you a stunning, ever-changing perspective of the SE coast. Situated in Kingston Beach just a 15 minute drive from the city of Hobart with a 5 -10 minute walk to the beach and local cafes and restaurants. There are various walking tracks along the water. It is in a quiet area over looking Mount Wellington and Kingston Beach with views over the River Derwent including South Arm and Opossum Bay. Kingston is the gateway to the Huon Valley and Bruny Island a 25-30 minute drive.

Stay overnight at Travelodge airport *if you plan to visit Bruny Island & Salamca Market (only Saturday), early morning flight recommended. Go straight there before heading Effa House as it's opposite direction. CCTV only installed outside to monitor externally

Our renovated apartment is just 20 m from glorious Blackman's Bay beach; at the quiet end. You can sit in the garden, enjoy the ocean view and at night be lulled to sleep by the sound of the waves. Perfect place to just relax. Please note that during peak periods we may require a minimum stay of 6 nights; ie/. between December 24th to 30th.
