Villa Lara is set in a peaceful location ideal for walking the levadas (unmissable walks in Calheta include Paul da Serra, Rabacal (to Risco Waterall & 25 Fontes), Levada Nova and the Prazeres to Paul do Mar walk) and is close to a bus route. The property is approximately 30 minutes drive to Funchal and 45 minutes from the airport. A car is recommended so you can explore the island at your convenience. Our place is a pleasant 12-minute walk from the Reids Palace, 25-minute walk from Park Santa Catarina, 30-minute walk from the historic Cathedral for those who enjoy a relaxing pace, or a short 5-minute drive. This light-filled ground-floor flat, with a huge total private patio with partial ocean view, offers queen-size bed suite, a bedroom with two twin beds, and an office.
