Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. You cannot beat the views here! Absolutely stunning! My mother and sister, Lucy, stayed at this home with our family July 2021. We enjoyed the tranquility away from the hustle and bustle of the more crowded beach towns. We loved the house so much, that we asked the Superhost owner to let us know if he ever wanted to sell it. He did, and the rest is history! Enjoy fishing and crabbing directly off the dock or enjoy a day at the beach.

Fisherman's dream. A quiet place to relax and enjoy nature. This property is located on a canal directly across from McNeal's cut on the San Bernard River. Perfect for river or shallow water fishing, kayaking and bird watching. Less than a mile to intracostal canal and public boat ramp. Many native and migratory birds can be seen throughout the year and with the San Bernard Wildlife Refuge hosting their annual Migration Celebration it's perfect for bird watchers of all ages.

The Pier House in Sargent, TX (close to Houston)

If you want to get away to the beach and avoid the crowds, come stay in our beautiful home on Sargent Beach just a 1hr30minute drive from Houston. Enjoy 360degree water views from our home , fishing from our amazing pier, and watching the tug boats, dolphin & plethora of birds pass through. What makes our property so unique is that you get to fish from our double level pier over the ICW or you can walk across the road and fish and play in the gulf (approximately 75 yards).

The Sweeny House

The Sweeny house is conveniently located 2 minutes from the Sweeny Community Hospital, 5 minutes from fishing in the San Bernard River, 10 minutes from Chevron Phillips, and 35 minutes from Surfside Beach. This house has many features including a place to park your RV with an outside plug, a full kitchen with new appliances, 2 TV's, computer desk, washer dryer, central AC/Heat, an electric fireplace, and a beautiful screened in front porch.
