Immerse yourself in the natural beauty and wildlife surrounding you, the village offers a pristine beach with epic surfing waves and one of South Africa's premier kitesurfing destinations. The mountains beckon for invigorating hikes or trail runs. Enjoy the peace and quiet of Scarborough, a world away from Cape Town, yet only a 45 min drive.

Nightjar cottage

A brand new eco cottage in sleepy Scarborough, a conservation village bordering Cape Point National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site at the tip of the continent. One of the first tiny homes constructed with South African hemp and timber, this minimalistic sanctuary is nestled in a wild indigenous fynbos garden at the end of a cul-de-sac dirt road, a 10 min stroll from a gorgeous surfing beach. Unwind to the birdsong, and if you are lucky passing herds of eland or the distant blow of a whale.

Cape Point Mountain Getaway - Cottage

This is one of Cape Town's environmental and historic treasures. It is a candle-lit hideaway with stunning views of mountain and sea. The Cottage is completely off grid, with fresh water coming off the mountain and energy from the sun. The cottage is built from local materials - stone walls, reed ceilings, blue gum supports. There are glass doors and windows throughout the cottage. The cottage has a beautiful open-plan bedroom and bathroom. The bathroom includes a tub, a toilet and a basin.

Featuring 2 large en-suite bedrooms as well as a cosy loft and additional bunkbeds for the kids. The house is just 45 minutes from Cape Town city centre.

The upstairs offers spectacular ocean views with a big open plan bathroom. Downstairs is the perfect setting for dinners around the dining table leading onto the open plan kitchen. The downstairs double bedrooms share a bathroom and the front bedroom has beautiful sea views. While the downstairs deck is great for sundowners. Situated 45 minutes from Cape Town’s city centre.

Scarborough Loft+Solar

The Scarborough Loft is a stylish, light-filled self-catering apartment with breathtaking sea and mountain views. Ideal for a couple and one child, it features a queen bed and a cozy 3/4 bed in a den. The kitchen is fully equipped with Smeg and Siemens appliances, plus fiber internet and backup battery. Enjoy two balconies—one facing the ocean, the other the mountains, with stunning views throughout. Beaches, restaurants, and hiking trails are all within a short walk.

A beautiful space for a sneaky weekend away or over night stays exploring the area.

A Frame House in Scarborough on Hilltop Road. Folding door opens onto a big deck and a stunning view of the ocean. Living area & bathroom plus upstairs bedroom with double bed. Separate downstairs room with double bed & small sleeper couch + bathroom. (note this room is not linked internally to rest of house, it is completely separate). Note wi-fi is available (Cellphone reception is weak). We don't have BBQ facilities.
