The Sage Hut - safe, private, warm and cosy

The Sage Hut is a traditional well-insulated structure set on a sturdy all-metal chassis and wheels. Double glazed windows & bed are new this year making it even more warm and cosy. It enjoys lovely views to the south with its own peaceful small yard/garden & private car parking space. It enjoys mains electricity, hot & cold water; the shower/loo is approx 25m away . There is a guest fridge and microwave in the stable block. The woodburning stove is highly efficient. Continental breakfast.

Light a fire and get lazy, chill out in the hottub, star-gaze at the incredible night skies, or just take in the majestic Pen y Fan as you plan (or recover from) your ascent.

Get in amongst the hills, reservoirs and fields of the Brecon Beacons National Park. Talybont on Usk is a 15 minute walk away for great pubs, bike rental and a small village shop. Get back to basics. Kick off your walking boots, light the fire, relax. Watch stars and sheep and escape from it all. Our rustic cabin makes a perfect retreat for couples or individuals looking for somewhere unique. The hut gets it's name from the hill that dominates the view from the porch seat - Tor y foel.

The Bwthyn - a tiny cruck-beamed cottage, situated at the confluence of two streams, tastefully restored to offer a place of peace in beautiful surroundings in the Brecon Beacons National Park, close to Pen y Fan & Black Mountains. The cottage has 3 rooms for private use; living room (sofa bed with mattress), kitchen and bathroom, heated by an eco-friendly biomass boiler. Freesat tv and DVD player. A few metres takes you to the nearest footpaths leading to beautiful hills, the Taff Trail or a pretty stream along a valley. Brecon mon canal a short walk.
