Creekside Greek Revival Cottage

Newly restored 1840s Greek Revival cottage with new kitchen, two new bathrooms with showers (no tub) and new mechanical systems, two bedrooms, parking and vegetable and flower gardens with creek and horse pasture views. The house is furnished with 19th century antiques and decorative arts. Easily accessible to farmstands, antiquing, historic sites, restaurants and a nearby state park with an Olympic-size pool. The host lives next door, so help is available when needed, but privacy is allowed.

Rent kayaks in town, hike Vrooman’s Nose or just relax in our screened porch. The farmhouse is handicap friendly including zero entry, first floor daybed and a first floor handicap bathroom. The historic Mill Pond Inn was built in 1879 by the Mann Brothers, who ran a grain and sawmill. When David and Joan purchased the property in 2017, it had been abandoned for twenty-two years, but retained many of its original details. Today, the house features five rooms with private baths, a relaxing front porch, and a large back deck with stunning views of the mill pond. An event space for parties of up to 100+. On-Site Tavern & Restaurant is open Thursday-Sunday 10a-10p.
