Barns Tower is an authentic medieval mini castle with roaring log fires and all modern comforts. The Tower is located in a beautiful rural setting on the River Tweed and is an ideal location for exploring the Scottish Borders. Peebles is nearby with great amenities and there’s heavenly walks right from the door. Please be aware that The Tower is located at the end of a rural track and due care should be taken with speed and approach. The Tower is arranged over 4 floors with steep staircases.

Twin Law Cottage is a former barn that has been sympathetically converted for comfortable, modern living. With outdoor space, and wonderful views over surrounding farmland, you can really relax and feel like you've escaped the humdrum of every day life. Cosy-up in front of the log burner after a walk in the Lammermuirs; go for a jaunt to Holy Island; visit some of wonderful local stately homes; or head into Edinburgh for the day. Relax and unwind in front of the open fire.For the sightseers it’s only a 30 minute drive into the centre of Edinburgh.

The Hemmel, Old Town Farm

Lovingly converted, pet friendly barn set on a working farm with fantastic views across the Rede valley. Open plan living/kitchen area with log burning stove and flooded with natural light. A recent addition are daily visits from our local red squirrels. Spacious and modern with underfloor heating. Tastefully furnished and decorated with bathroom featuring a walk -in shower. Keeper's Cottage is a charming, spacious country cottage in the former stable block in the grounds of Wedderburn Castle in the Scottish Borders. The cottage has recently been modernised but retains historic charm. This is the perfect place to explore the Scottish Borders and North Northumberland as well as Edinburgh and the Lothians further afield. In the local area you can find historic houses and abbeys, golf, surfing, walking, cycle routes and beautiful scenery and coastlines.

The Bothy: cute converted barn for 1-4 guests

The Bothy at Dod Mill is a studio-style barn conversion for 1-4 guests, near the Royal Burgh of Lauder in the Scottish Borders. The property has been interior-designed with modern, rustic styling. The Bothy has its own walled-garden area with views to rivers, woodland, an orchard and rare-breed sheep. Cosy-in with a woodburning stove (unlimited logs!), drink good coffee, cook, bake, read, or simply relax in the space around you. WiFi, tea & Nespresso coffee included.

The Wee Trail House, Peebles & Glentress

The Wee Trail House is next-door to the main Trail House and was recently renovated to a high standard. The decor is warm, clean and relaxing throughout. A new kitchen was installed as well as a fresh modern bathroom. There are two bedrooms with king size zip and link beds which can be set up as double or twin rooms. The open plan kitchen, dining and living space is very sociable and the coffee table easily converts into a small or large dining table.

The Stables on a Beautiful Country Estate

If you are looking for a quiet and cosy getaway then “The Stables” is a wonderful choice. The Stables are within the grounds of Harburn House so is a perfect choice if you are visiting us for an event. The closest train station runs services to both Edinburgh and Glasgow so you will be in a great location for visiting both cities. We would be delighted to welcome couples, solo adventurers, business travellers, families, and big groups. No pets please.
