Arthur's Pass Ecolodge - unique off grid living

Only 10mins south of Arthur's Pass Village, on SH73, the Ecolodge overlooks the expansive Waimakariri River and mountains of the National Park. Experience "off grid" living at its best on a small environmental footprint. To stay costs $175 per night for bed and homemade breakfast (for 2 people). You have the option to book up to 4 people in your group, as I have two Queen rooms available. I'm more than happy to share a 2-course meal + wine/beer for $35 pp and spend time sharing stories.

Includes self-catered continental breakfast - please advise if you would like breakfast or not. A unique, sunny, compact studio set in an established back garden in a quiet neighbourhood. A warm, quiet and secure home with easy access to Airport, University and Central City. I have hosted many international guests, as well as students and visitors attending the University. Supermarket, shops, cafes and restaurants all within walking distance. The large indoor fitness and swimming complex Jellie Park is a 5 minute walk. A variety of beautiful parks and gardens are nearby, for walking and enjoyment.

The Redbarns, Otahuna Rd, Tai Tapu

Warm, private, clean and light-filled, the Redbarns offers character and space in an idyllic rural location. It makes a great spot for a gathering, or wedding preparations. Wake to the sound of bellbirds, and see pīwakawaka, kereru, kingfishers, owls and more on our property. Just 20 minutes into central Christchurch. We provide a delicious home-made breakfast, and are on hand for local information.
